When we learn something new, our first concern is generally about WHAT we have learnt – very few of us stop to consider HOW they learn. Learners often operate with the same learning methods for years, without any thought as to whether it is the most effective way to absorb and retain information, and some will continue to suffer through the years without experiencing any form of academic success. This is the main drive behind why and how we came up with GRIP Adaptive Learner™ Program, which is all about helping oneself to achieve true Learning Mastery. It is an extension of our core program and comprises of a set of learner profiling tools, workshops and learning materials that serves to help everyone induce effective transformation of their learning abilities to reach maximum efficiency.

The GRIP Adaptive Learner™ Program is suitable for parents who wish to future-proof their children and adult learners who wants a structured approach to embracing the evolving workplace and global professional environments.

GRIP Learning Profile™ for Schools

The entire program consists of multiple components, each serving a specific function to achieve the overall program objectives.

GRIP Learning Profile™

The GRIP Learning Profile™ report is developed as part of the tools to help learner achieve the Stage 1 Goal of the GRIP Learning Mastery Roadmap™ of gaining Metacognition. GRIP Learning Profile serves to help learners identify their preferred learning styles. We can define learning styles as preferences and tendencies students have for certain way of taking in and processing information and responding to different instructional environments. GRIP Learning Profile™ is developed through extensive research on the underlying personality factors within us that influences our thinking and behaviors with regards to our learning. Different learning methodologies and psychological models were compared and evaluated extensively to come out with our version of a Learning Profile that includes all the major factors that we deem as important influencing factors to a person’s learning preferences and abilities. For the purpose of continuous research and development into providing accurate Learning Profiling, we have incorporated Machine Learning algorithms to perform statistical analysis in the combined area of psychological traits, personal interests, identified mental abilities and key learning dimensions through gathered learners’ data. A subfield of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning excels in discovering new data patterns within a large pool of data, giving us new insights such as the correlation between psychological traits and different aspects of educational performance. The following diagram denotes the key factors that we have identified to be highly influential on a person’s learning abilities to achieve optimum learning.

There will be 3 versions of the Learning Profile, for each of the age group of our target audience. Each version comes with 2 editions, “Standard” or “Premium”. The “Standard” edition of the report will be suitable for mass classes and workshops, whilst the “Premium” edition is more suitable for individuals preferring a detailed review into their complete Learning Profile.

Workshop #1 – GRIP Adaptive Learner™ Workshop (TBC)

This workshop focuses on building Metacognition Awareness, improving Adaptability Quotient (AQ), instilling Growth Mindset and building Mental Resilience (Grit). This is an activity-based workshop with clear objectives arranged in a modular setting.

Workshop #2 – GRIP Deep Learning™ Workshop (TBC)

This workshop explores how to incorporate the ability to perform “Deep Work” into students to accelerate their learning speed and competence. “Deep work” is the ability to focus without distraction on a cognitively demanding task. It is a skill that allows you to quickly master complicated information and produce better results in less time. Deep work will make you better at what you do and provide the sense of true fulfillment that comes from craftsmanship. In short, deep work is like a superpower in our increasingly competitive twenty-first century economy. This workshop will explore the overall study strategy and techniques necessary to acing academic assignments, from quizzes and exams to essays and papers, how to weave them into a simple, practical system that anyone can master.
